Dear brethren, this critical period in the history of our Ummah produces two types, each pretends to belong to this Ummah, but trials produce distinction that would not have been conspicuous without ordeal and trial.
Yesterday, I said to some dear friends that the motto of this period is: "In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure" (Al Anfal, 37).
Facing the present trial our Ummah lives today, a kind of wakefulness has begun to pervade in few members of this Ummah, and a new soul is blown into their resolution. Their preparation for holy fighting begins to reveal a state of dauntlessness and determination.
They talk to themselves saying: 'How can we behave in a way that would agree with the resolution and the intrepidity we hope for'. This type of people is not restricted to rulers or nations, so is the case with the other defeatist vacillating scared type who are inwardly defeated before they are defeated from the outside. This is a case that is not restricted to rulers or nations, leaders or followers. It is rather a common case.
The Holy Qur'an relates an example of this case happened at one time in the past history, that is when Goliath met Saul. Saul represents the type of dauntless, fighting in the cause of Allah, obedient and submissive group who obey the order of Allah. In his army and among those who belonged to him, I find these two types.
The motto of the defeatist vacillating type, as is related by the Holy Qur'an, was: "They said: 'This day we cannot cope with Goliath and his forces' " (Al Baqarah, 249).
There is no equivalence in number, nor in armament, 'so how can we endanger ourselves in facing a disproportionate battle'?!!! On the other hand, the steadfast group, who have sincere determination and are attached to Allah only, point out to the cosmic law that the Exalted Allah reveals when there is a sincere faithful group who say: "How oft, by Allah's will, hath a small force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere" (Al Baqarah, 249).
Their motto is: "Our Lord! pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm" (Al Baqarah, 250).

As is mentioned above, this is not restricted to a certain epoch. ِ A clearer and closer example in time is what the Holy Qur'an relates concerning the story of Al Ahzab (the Parties), when the believers, including the Prophet (PBUH), were besieged in the Enlightened Medina after they had dug a ditch, and the Jews plotted against them. Thus, there were traitors in the inside, as well as enemies in the outside.
This incident has become an everlasting parable for this Ummah, a parable that we call to mind when we see the heroism of Gaza, the martyr, with its daring people and courageous leaders who have not sold their souls to the devil and refused to belong to the traitors and mercenaries. They rather stand firm in fighting the occupier and facing these criminal aggressors in spite of the fact that they face a disproportionate battle. The sea is behind them where the enemy use their battleships, and before them, the enemy besiege them with their developed weapons supported by the party of the Right, who are nothing but the left, in the White House of the U.S.. They use very developed weapons on the universal level, manufactured in the country of injustice and tyranny, the country that tries to predominate people.
The people of Gaza are bombed by devastating airplanes using weapons that all the world prohibits and bans in all types of wars.
In spite of all that, there was only a very small portion of the circumference which surrounds them that leads to an Islamic Arabic country, but it is forbidden to open, because the leaders of that country have sold all their consciences and have cooperated with the enemy who cuts to pieces the children's bodies, rips open the bellies of the pregnant women, and tears the old and disabled to pieces.
It is a small area that would have been used for the service of this nation in confronting the enemy from the Egyptian side if it were opened. In spite of the boiling rage of this Muslim nation who disavow what their rulers do, the border crossing is not allowed to open so that complete besieging of the people of Gaza becomes complete.
Consequently, we have a contemporary sample of what the Ummah lives nowadays. It is a sample similar to that related by the Holy Qur'an in Al Ahzab besieging, presented in details with its circumstances. This sample is mentioned in a Surah the Exalted Allah called Al Ahzab. He said: "Behold they came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats" (Al Ahzab, 10).
It seems as if the Holy Qur'an related what our brethren in Gaza live in: "Behold they came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats, and ye imagined various {vain} thoughts about Allah" (Al Ahzab, 10).

Do you believe that the Exalted Allah would not support the steadfast, true, faithful, garrisoned, freedom fighters: "In that situation were the Believers tried; they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking" (Al Ahzab, 11).
Pretensions are not so expensive, and pretenders are plenty. Only when earthquake befalls, the true people who seek martyrdom will be conspicuous, the people who prefer the Hereafter to this life, the people who do not trade on fundamental issues and principles, the people who do not lie to themselves and to the others. Those who talk today about the Palestinian issue outside the domain of Jihad and resistance are the owners of the billions who deposited their wealth in international banks. They shake hands with the enemies of Allah, children of Zion. The biographies of those who trade on the Palestinian issue and run away from the battlefield of Jihad are very well known. Behind them, there are others who trade on the Palestinian issue from beyond the circle of the Palestinian people, whose biographies are also well-known. In no day was their behavior an expression of adherence to a principle as it was an expression of their detachment from principles.
"And behold! The Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease " (Al Ahzab, 12). They spread suspicion among people to shake people's certainty in the Exalted Allah. The hypocrite apparently announces his Islam, and hides in his inside disbelief in Islam and in the promise of the Exalted Allah and His support to His slaves.
As is related by the Holy Qur'an, they said something that thwarts this Ummah and makes it get away from its fundamentals: "Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusions"(Al Ahzab, 12).
They aim at turning this Ummah away from the Promise of Allah, while "Allah has decreed: 'It is I and My messengers who must prevail' "(Al Mujadilah, 21).
When the steadfast, true, believing, committed, patient group exists, the garrisoned group that vies in perseverance, the Exalted Allah will definitely support them, otherwise, how can we find an explanation for an army that is supplied with the most developed technique in armament, an army that is the strongest in the area, withdraw after it has been defeated by a small group that has nothing but manual weapons.
What kind of logical equation can present an explanation of the withdrawal of the timid army that contact these steadfast people only through airplanes from a far distance, but when they come nearby, they are defeated?
Why are you astonished?
The one who loves martyrdom is always victorious over the one who loves life.
If you love martyrdom, you will become victorious, but if you love life, you will be defeated.
When the freedom fighters love martyrdom, they win the war and defeat the criminal aggressor.
At present, the criminal aggressive entity asks for help and wants to get out of this war by any solution, but it collides with stable mountains that present their leaders for martyrdom. They do not hide their leaders behind the soldiers. The leaders proceed to be in the front line of the battlefield. These are the honored martyrs, Ar Rayyan (who was killed a few days ago), and Sa'id Sayam, and the procession is proceeding. Before them, there was Ahmad Jasin and Ar Rantisi and others.
They compete in Jihad, they compete for martyrdom, they are racing to enter Paradise… .
What do those who trade on the issue do, those who talk about lawfulness?
What kind of lawfulness they talk about? Is there still any lawfulness in this world of chaos?!!
Has any lawfulness of what is called international lawfulness remained after the Security Council, that is the paramount international authority, has issued an obligatory decision, but the Zionist entity disregarded it?
The world stood as onlookers. When I listen to the commentators outside this Ummah, especially international officials, I hear them say: "We are worried… . We are worried because this entity has not executed the decisions… . We are worried because the UNRWA that presents food substances and medicine is bombed… ".
It is because the wealth gathered in our country and handed over to the UNRWA is collected with the purpose of being bombed by this aggressive country, Israel, that should be eliminated from the world map.
Hundred millions are collected by this Ummah in governorates for aid, but rockets assail medicine compounds to destroy everything.
Is it an international collusion so that our wealth be collected to be burnt by coordination?
I no more believe in this lying..
He said: "I am worried".
Oh, international official, what would your worry avail us?
It is a matter of collusion.
We refuse the donations of the UNRWA to Hamas. When I know that official authorities have realized this fact and have given opportunity for direct donations to Hamas, I consider this procedure a positive attitude we have to take into consideration, because the medicine and food substances the UNRWA presents to Hamas are burnt by UNRWA itself in collusion.
Who would warrant you that this did not happen in collusion so that our wealth be burnt and our brethren in Gaza would neither benefit from the flour, nor from the medicine.
But if wealth is handed over to Hamas, you guarantee its reaching the resistance, the freedom fighters… .
Hundred millions were spend, then they were burnt.
We are an Ummah that lives in a miserable state. Our enemies make fun of us, our wealth is absorbed then it is burnt, and the information media portrays the issue as a Zionist aggression against the UNRWA… . No, this did not happen, because the people who sponsor this international organization have been stripped of their lawfulness, because they are liars, because they deceive people. When the matter is related to Syria, Iraq, or any Islamic country, then all the world becomes international lawfulness, but when the matter is related to the Zionist entity, they would say: "We are worried!!
" And behold! The Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease, Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusions".
They say: "Where is Allah's promise given to you?"
"Behold! A party among them said: "Ye men of Yathrib! Ye cannot stand {the attack}! therefore go back!"
Here comes the practical thwarting. They said: "You cannot stand the attack, therefore run away from the rows of the freedom fighters and go back to your homes".
"Behold! A party among them said: 'Ye men of Yathrib! Ye cannot stand {the attack}! therefore go back!' ", i.e., 'you cannot stay with the Prophet (PBUH) and with the freedom fighters, so 'go back', go back to your homes.
I thank the Exalted Allah that those who talk about terrorism will be ashamed, and if they do not feel ashamed, we shall make them do so by coercion.
What kind of terrorism…! If fighting terrorism means fighting Jihad (fighting in the cause of Allah) that aims at eliminating the criminal aggressive entity, we shall fight whoever will fight us.
But if fighting terrorism means that we all fight this Zionist entity, it will be a sweet fighting against terrorism when we fight this criminal entity.
We have only one enemy. The vacillating people should repent to Allah and direct their guns towards this enemy. Every free, heedful, gallant believer should know who his enemy is.
Thanks to Allah that this game, i.e., fighting terrorism (contrived by that criminal), has been uncovered as the reign of this criminal is about to come to an end very soon. Fighting terrorism has become a motto, so that the one who defends his honor is considered a terrorist; the one who defends his land is considered a terrorist, the one who prays is considered a terrorist; the one who lets his beard grow following the example of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) is considered a terrorist. Briefly speaking, the Muslim has become a terrorist, but the Jew represents the aspect of peace and smiling.
This lie, for which they have done a lot of effort to make it fixed in the minds of people for more than one hundred years, has fallen.
Oh, Islamic Ummah enough humiliation… enough captivity to deception… . Until when will this continue? We have to wake up… .

"Behold! A party among them said: 'Ye men of Yathrib! Ye cannot stand {the attack}! therefore go back!' and a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet". Here comes the echo. The first group said: 'Go back to your homes, and run away from the rows of Jihad'. Consequently, some responded and asked the Prophet (PBUH) to allow them to withdraw from the rows of the freedom fighters.
"and a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet, saying, 'Truly our houses are bare and exposed' ", i.e., 'Our houses are not fortified and we fear that they might be attacked. We have left Medina to be garrisoned at its borders'. Thus, the first thwarting was presented in speech, while the second was practical and in behavior.
The Exalted Allah uncovered the two groups saying: "though they were not exposed. They intended nothing but to run away".
They are the people of running away from Jihad, "And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the {City}… ".
If those who are unwilling to fight find that their interests would be affected, as they are the slaves of interests, they would hurry to fight "And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the {City}, and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have come quickly". 'Seduction' means defending and fighting for other than making the word of Allah superior. They would fight for fanaticism, for self-interest, for wealth, for high positions, "and they had been incited to sedition", you will find armies move on. They move on for anything but not for making the word of Allah superior, or to defend the honest who are steadfast before this criminal enemy.
"And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the {City}, and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have come quickly, with none but a brief delay" .
They would not have stayed in their homes. You would have seen them frontier guardians; you would have seen them on the alert…, but when the issue is defending the religion of Allah, you find the defeatists uncovered by this trial.
Oh dear brethren, we have to wake up in this critical stage by announcing our open affiliation to the religion of Allah. The Holy Qur'an is revealed to us not for recital only and putting it on the shelves. It is revealed to direct man. It is not revealed in the swamp of loss and searching for affiliations that have no genuineness.
In one of the assemblies, I said: "the cycle between death and revival in cultures, in nations, in cities and in villages is one hundred years. This is referred to by the Exalted Allah when he said: "Or {take} the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: oh! how shall Allah bring it {ever} to life, after {this} its death? but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up {again}" (Al Baqarah, 259). This is to make him see that one hundred years is enough to make a change.
I used to wonder as we are in the year two thousand and nine, what happened in the year one thousand, nine hundred and nine.
The answer is that at that time the Ottoman Sultan, Abdul Hamid, refused to sell Palestine to the Jews. Consequently, he was deposed from authority, and the party of Ittihad and Taraqqi (unity and promotion) appointed by the children of Zion, replaced him as rulers. It was the actual history of ending the caliphate, regardless of the formal images that followed the deposition of Abdul Hamid.
Thus, after one hundred years of refusing to sell Palestine, this is Palestine after it had been sold, and after conspirators plotted against it. Palestine has restored the Ummah by blowing the soul in it anew.
Blowing the soul anew does not mean giving birth instantly. Haven't you seen that the soul of the embryo is blown in it while it is in the womb of its mother after four month of its existence, after which it waits for five more months to get out of the womb. It sometimes differs, for some embryos get out after two months after soul is blown in them, and at other times, some get out after three months or five months.
Blowing the soul does not mean instant delivery of the embryo.
Oh brethren, realize this fact. This year is witnessing the blowing of the soul anew.
Then we hear some who come out of the land of the Ottoman Caliphate, and out of a secular milieu, we hear him say: "I am the heir of the Ottoman state".
Bless the attitude of Turkey, and disgrace be upon the attitudes of the traitors who plot against their nations and their decisive issues.
May Allah bless this Muslim country, in whose veins blood runs, the country in which thousands of cars come to walk in a demonstration on the strip of the borderline to say: "We are a nation who refuse to live in peace with the criminal".
Hundreds of Turkish physicians stood on the borders of Egypt saying: 'Open the border crossing for us so that we reach the hospitals in Palestine'.
Consequently, this Qur'an that was the motto of the Ummah a hundred years ago, will be the cause of making the Ummah wake up after a hundred years, and we should not be ashamed of saying: 'The Qur'an is our Imam'.
The second matter is that behavioral waking up should, by necessity, follow an intellectual one. This process can be achieved by adopting the Islamic sound conduct that refuses aberration. We feel bored with those who announce mottoes then they contradict them. The Exalted Allah has arranged preludes for Jihad. He said: "O ye who believe if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him". This is the first prelude.
"lowly with the Believers". When the relationships among the believers are well organized, no one would behave arrogantly with the others, and the believers' rows would be solidified.
"mighty against the rejecters". They believe that their attitude is the very same goodness, and in the attitude of the others, there are deviation perversion, loss and straying from the right way.
"whom He will love as they will love Him, lowly with the Believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah" (Al Ma'idah, 54).
If you prepare yourself for Jihad, you will, one da, be among those who are loved by Allah, but if you have the illusion that you are able to fight as those who are steadfast, frontier guardians, those who vie in perseverance and are patient, you are mistaken, for you will run away if you are not well prepared.
I'd like to present you advice, for you haven't passed the trial. When your food or heating is decreased, you shout. But the people of Gaza are without electricity, without water, and without food. They live for days with their children without these essential means of living. Are you sure that you can be patient in such circumstances.
You will not be patient when the enemy attacks you, and the enemy is certainly coming. Bloody fighting, predicted by our Master, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), will take place in these countries.
In these countries, fierce battles will happen, and the enemies of Allah will come to us. However deluded some are and have the illusion that they will be away from the battlefield, the battlefield will be moved to them, but then, they will run away.

It is indispensible to make your heart prepared by the preludes of Jihad.
"whom He will love as they will love Him". If you are sincere in your attachment to Allah, and this feeling becomes your funds, then your behavior, as well as the behavior of the Muslims, will be changed into an example of the Islamic type, then you will openly pride yourself in being a Muslim without any interest in the causes, and without being a slave to interest. Only then you will be in the stage of "fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault". But if you do not pass through these stages, you will be defeated at the first instant.
Do not have the illusion that the believers' victory against this heavily armed army was accomplished by the RBG, and the Grand rockets. The Exalted Allah said: "make ready your strength to the utmost of your power against them" (Al Anfal, 60). The Exalted Allah does not ask us to do what is beyond our ability, but we win victory by virtue of the faith in our hearts before what is in our hands. When we are attached the Exalted Allah, which should be our prior interest, in addition to our pride in being affiliated to Islam, we shall win victory.
Oh youth, ask yourself this question: Where are you from these three conditions?
If you find that the above three conditions are verified by you, you will then be prepared for Jihad.
Allahum…, guide us to You favorably, and make us from those who listen to wisdom and follow the best of it.
I say my words and ask Allah's forgiveness.
The Second Sermon
Remember always the words of the Exalted Allah: "Allah will not leave the Believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good" (Al Imran, 179).
"Allah will not leave the Believers". The Exalted Allah will not abandon you if you belong to the people of faith, but He will make you pass the trial: "Allah will not leave the Believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good". If you belong to the people of faith, the Heavenly Providence will make you pass the trial, because Allah loves you, but if you are keen on being interested in this life, remember the Exalted Allah's words: "Say: Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if {ye do escape}, no more than a brief {respite} will ye be allowed to enjoy" (Al Ahzab, 16).
" Say: Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter". Running away is useless, for it is no longer than your death will come and you will be moved away from this House of the present life.
Consequently, trial is coming, and when you run away from trial, running away from death will be of no use: "Say: Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if {ye do escape}, no more than a brief {respite} will ye be allowed to enjoy", till your death comes, after which you will lose this life and the life of the Hereafter.
